Etching Prints
For this traditional Portfolio, Garrett will create images on copper or zinc. He will draw or transfer images captured while visiting the National Parks. These will be printed using an etching press on archival paper. Each State will have 2 prints/Park in their St. Portfolio with a National Portfolio of 120-160 prints!
Wood cut Prints
For this second, more graphic representation of the National Parks, Ron Garrett will hand carve in wood and print on archival paper. The State Portfolio will consist of 2 woodcut prints/park and one print/National Historic site, commissioned by State, with 120-160 woodcut prints in the National Portfolio.

Ron Garrett will create a selection of paintings during his decade long sojourn in our National Parks. He will paint some plein air or at his studio from sketches made. These will be part of local museum and educational shows highlighting our National Parks, to go along with the prints created for the Portfolios.
mixed media Sculptures
Ron Garrett will collect material from Park clean ups and excavation events to create sculptures that relate to our National Parks. These will provide an ongoing dialog with visitors on preserving and protecting our natural heritage sites.
